Our Better Together Retreats have simple goals.
To provide an environment for new connections with other pastor’s wives and to encourage the nurturing of existing friendships. All the while sharing a theme that encourages spiritual growth in our personal walk with Jesus. This year’s theme was “Anchors for the Journey”. We concentrated on where God has us anchored right now, how strong of an anchor God is in our lives and even though sometimes we pull at and fight the anchor, but God never fails to hold us.
“A connection with someone is a deep feeling of trust, emotional safety, and understanding that makes you feel seen, heard, and valued. It’s a bond built on shared experiences, values, or interests, where you can be vulnerable and feel supported without judgment.”
In November 2025 we had two weekends filled with both new connections and lots of nurturing of those friendships, both new and existing. We enjoyed good food, exquisite accommodations, genuine worship time singing together and shared laughter and tears.
