    Life is Tough

    Life is tough! You’re response to that would be, “Tell me something I don’t know.” During these uncertain times, I find the need to be reminded of some of the basic truths of my standing in Christ. The truth I need today is Ephesians 3:20: Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

    The power that is appropriated to me as a child of God is the same power God used to raise Christ from the grave. Ephesians 1:19-20: And his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms.

    With that in mind, is there any question as to why Paul would declare that the power of God living in us goes beyond anything we can measure or imagine?

    How would life change for us if we tapped into God’s power and allowed it to work in us and through us? I don’t think life would be nearly as tough; as a matter of fact, we may start enjoying life in these uncertain times. Just a thought!

    Life is tough, but “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!”
