    Journey of the Soul

    Monday, February 28, 2022

I would like to recommend a resource to you today that I have found very helpful and insightful. It is a resource that I got at the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors) back last year and just now started reading it. Not only are Bill and Kristi both therapists, but he is a pastor as well. Their story is one that most of us pastors’ wives could certainly relate to.

Here is a description of what you can expect in the book:

The Healthy Christian Life involves continuing spiritual, emotional, and relational growth. But many of us feel stagnated at one stage of our soul’s journey. It’s not always clear where or why we are stuck, making it difficult to take the next step.

In Journey of the Soul, Bill and Kristi Gaultiere draw on more than 70,000 hours of providing therapy and spiritual direction to show you how to identify your current stage of faith and the next steps to take based on your unique needs and struggles. With Scripture, self-assessments, and soul care practices to support your progress along the way, this insightful and inspiring book will be a treasured companion on your journey, no matter where you are or how long you’ve been following Jesus.

“Bill and Kristi have written an inspiring and practical book that brings together the faith and feelings aspects of spiritual formation. It is clear that they have lived what they write about. Every believer will have a fresh understanding of their faith development from reading this book.” David Stoop, PhD

I pray this will be a book that you will purchase and it will be that practical guide to your emotional and spiritual growth.

We are here to walk with you on this ministry journey. Please let us know how we can help.

Help us continue providing resources of care for pastors and their families.
