Jesus Through the Eyes of Women

    Monday, February 26, 2024

We learn so much from the testimony of first-hand eyewitnesses. The four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John record so much of those things we know about Jesus and the events around him.

The book Jesus Through the Eyes of Women helps us learn from the vantage point of the stories that the women around him saw, those he healed, those he proclaimed the truth to, those he traveled with, ate with, ministered with, and depended on as friends.

Some of the women have names such as his mother, Mary. Others are only known as “the woman who was bent over for 18 years.” But each encounter was seen with eyes and hearts that glimpsed something special about Jesus.

“If the woman who followed Jesus could tell you what he was like, what would they say?”

“By entering the stories of the named and unnamed women who met Jesus, this book gives readers a unique lens to see Jesus as these women did and marvel at how he loved them in return.”  — Jen Wilkin, author and Bible teacher.

What better way to start the new year than to draw even closer to Jesus by the stories told by those who have seen him?

Help us continue providing resources of care for pastors and their families.
