    Focus

    Wednesday, November 05, 2014

Focus is another attribute that I must continually exercise. It is so very easy for my mind/thoughts to be diverted to things that have absolutely no value at all. I find myself spending valuable Kingdom Building time on things that not only have no value, but create thoughts and images that take me even farther off course.

I must discipline myself to take my thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ (II Corinthians 10:3-5). If I allow my thoughts to take me captive, the end result is a foundation on which strongholds are built. What promises freedom and pleasure, results in bondage. However, when I filter my thoughts through truth, the result is freedom. I choose freedom over bondage.

So the word today is FOCUS!

Help us continue providing resources of care for pastors and their families.
