    Appreciation

    Thursday, October 23, 2014

The official National Care for Pastors Sunday has passed. Some churches expressed appreciation to their pastor and family in very special ways, while other expressed some acknowledgment of their appreciation to their pastor. But if history repeated itself, this past Sunday as many as 80% of pastors received no acknowledgment, and no appreciation on a day set aside to show thanks to those who faithfully serve their Lord and the congregations they have been called to lead.

If you and your family represent one of those whose service and sacrifice went unnoticed, we at Care for Pastors want to express our appreciation for all you and your family do and for the sacrifices you make for the church. Remember this promise: “God is not unjust, He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10

Care for Pastors not only appreciates your service, we are also here to serve you and your family in every possible way. We are a safe place and we are only an email or phone call away.

A final word: Don’t grow weary in well doing! If you are growing weary in the service, reach out for help. Reaching out for that help is not a weakness, but a strength. Finish well!

Help us continue providing resources of care for pastors and their families.
