Church Conflict

The first great conflict of mankind happened in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2), and ever since, conflict has been mankind’s reality. And every pastor knows the church is not immune to this reality. Conflict between members, conflict between staff members, and conflict between the pastor and the lay leadership, can all exist. Churches are full of conflicted people, and conflicted people generate conflict. Unfortunately, when conflict happens, the pastor is often the person who struggles alone.
Pastor, we know the conflicts you face are real, and these conflicts can be detrimental to you, to your spouse, to your children and to the church you shepherd. Conflict can bring tremendous added stress, increase physical problems, and cause deep personal wounds. It can also stifle the growth of your church and damage the witness of Jesus in the community where you serve and the members of your congregation or parish live.
When conflict arises, we understand the difficult position you hold, and the need you have for support. The staff at Care for Pastors is here for you! You do not have to endure conflict alone, nor do you have to bandage your own wounds. We are your ally, call us now.
