Jeff Connor, Chairman
Jeff is a local business owner that has many years of experience in coming alongside pastors and their wives to encourage them in their calling. He and his wife Patty have a burning desire to serve the Lord in this area of ministry of Care for Pastors. They live in Okahumpka, FL with two of their unmarried children.
Paul J. Damon CFP®, CLU, ChFC
Paul was born June 6, 1959 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has lived in the Grand Rapids area for most of his life. Paul attended Hope College, graduating with a double major in business administration and psychology. He entered the financial services industry in 1981 with a large national firm. Paul left that firm to start an independent financial planning firm in 1998. He wanted to be able to offer his clients a larger spectrum of financial solutions than was available with a captive company. Paul has earned the advanced degrees of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). Paul specializes in helping people overcome the challenges and successfully achieving their goals. Paul is active in the community and his church. He has served on many boards in various capacities, all with the objective of serving the needs of people in the community.
Shirley Fowler
Shirley is a native Floridian that has served 20+ years in the customer service area with a utility company and also served on a church staff as a financial secretary. Because of Shirley’s experience with ministry she has a burning desire to come alongside pastors and their spouses to encourage them and see healing brought in their lives.
John Harling
John graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA in 1988 with a BS in Youth Ministries. He also received his Masters of Divinity, with a concentration in Counseling from Liberty Theological Seminary in 1994.Since graduation, John and his wife Peggy have served in ministry as Senior Pastor and as a layman in discipleship classes. He was the Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Bourne, MA for four years. He also served as Senior Pastor of Faith Community Church in Leesburg, FL for two years.He has written and published a discipleship book Grounded for Growth to help believers lay a foundation for their spiritual growth and development. He has also written Word at Work,which is a discipleship book to train people to study the word.John brings a dynamic to the board that only a former pastor could bring. He understands the need in this ministry like only those in ministry would understand. John and Peggy live in Leesburg, FL with their two sons, John Michael and Matthew.
Giove (Joe) Pici
Giove (Joe) Pici is a strategist for top sales professionals and a coach specializing in results driven sales training through Rapport Mastery℠. Since 1992 he has functioned as a catalyst for sales teams and individuals, helping them sharpen their skills for creating appointments and closing sales through his live phone call workshops. Joe and Dawn have created a methodology for results driven training programs that assist individuals and organizations in accomplishing more through Rapport Mastery℠. Rapport Mastery℠ sales training is an extremely strong skill builder which is straightforward and easy to apply. Joe honed his leadership skills coaching football for 20 years at the high school and college level. He formed his bond with Ron and Rodetta Cook during his time coaching at Liberty University. Joe has always been active in his church and community working with youths and young men. Most recently he implemented a program at FBCOrlando entitled "How to become indispensable to you boss" designed to assist community members who are currently looking to secure employment. Joe has been married to his wife Dawn for 37 years. They have two children and two grandchildren.
